Translating and converting the entire work into English requires careful verification of meanings, spellings, variants, grammatical forms, and context.

This is not a simple word-for-word conversion. Many aramaic words and expressions have different forms, nuances, and contexts, and we want to avoid introducing errors that could mislead or distort the language. Therefore, the English version is being prepared gradually and with care.

Why does the conversion take so long?

The work requires more than translating the words one by one. We must preserve the specific character of the Nash Didan Aramaic language, while also making the material understandable and accurate for English-speaking readers.

The dictionary includes variants of words, inflections, plural forms, and meanings that can depend on context. Each entry needs to be transferred carefully and checked before it can be presented as a dependable English resource.
